fiat lux (and then there was light)

  I have been playing around with my camera these days at night time, and I realised how important is the light in photography and what you can do with it, mess with it, deform it, and use it to make your pictures more "unique" !

  I've tried a few things : long exposure with or without flash, with or without a tripod, and so on... I also shot at a very fast shutter speed to capture water drops hitting the ground and get this "splash" effect so popular ! (see it here and here)
  Even if I still have to improve my technique, I was very happy to be able to adjust my camera the right way as I begin to know how to use properly the manual modes, or at least I understand the basis of it now and I see all the potential it can offer.
